Alumni Lunch and Ski: Friday Feb 7, 2025 at Dry Hill
The CNY Region held an Alumni day on Friday, February 7, at Dry Hill in Watertown. Pictured (L to R) are Brian Bamberger, Scott Launt (Advisor), Dave Martel (Patrol Director of Dry Hill Ski Area), Bert Ebeling, Hans Wawrousek, and Tom Lupa. Rumor has it that Brian even made some turns!
It was great to get together!

CNY patrollers participated as guest observers for the third year in a row at the U.S. Army's 10th Mountain Division
"D-Series" field exercise at Ft. Drum, Watertown, NY.
D-Series recalls a large scale training and evaluation exercise conducted at Camp Hale in Colorado to prepare troops for deployment in WWII, specifically the European theater in late 1944.

NSP members pictured were in the field as soldiers navigated various skill stations. Skills demonstrate readiness for cold weather and mountain operations. Patrollers interacted with soldiers, training cadre and leadership, highlighting the shared lineage dating back to Charles "Minnie" Dole, credited for fostering both.

Chris Lange has successfully passed the Eastern Division OET Trainer Evaluator exam and is our newest TE! Chris is a Greek Peak patroller and lives in Homer, NY.
Congratulations to Kathleen Esty receiving the Patroller Achievement Award!

Thank you Tom!
